James Harden Joins Elite Company with 27,000 Career Points in NBA

Harden sank a catch-and-shoot 3-pointer in the third quarter, joining an elite group of basketball icons including LeBron James, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Karl Malone, Kobe Bryant, Michael Jordan, Dirk Nowitzki, Wilt Chamberlin, Kevin Durant, Shaquille O’Neal, Carmelo Anthony, Moses Malone, and Elvin Hayes in reaching a significant milestone.

A three-time scoring champ, Harden is averaging 21.5 points this season at age 35.

With 27 games remaining this season, Harden is on track to surpass both Hayes (27,313) and Malone (27,409) for No. 12 and 11, respectively, on the all-time scoring list.
